About Me

I specialize in video and broadcast systems, which is more important than ever with the constraints of COVID-19 to impeding the events industry as it is. A benefit of knowing video is that it combines the specialties of audio and lighting, as both are required to create a good video. This is why I took the time to learn live sound mixing and lighting design; to ensure that any broadcast channels get as good of an experience as possible without being able to be in the room. I have worked with Blackmagic, Roland, and Ross equipment for most of the video switchers, routers, and infrastructure.

My first audio console was an analog Allen & Heath MixWizard WZ4 which taught me a lot of the fundamentals of mixing. Since then I have used all manner of consoles, both analog and digital in mixing everything from small speaking engagements, theater performances, and concerts. Most of my career has been digital, with the Yamaha SL7 and CL5, and the Allen & Heath iLive, Q-Series, and GLD-Series.

Video Editing has become one of the most important skills a video professional can have in this new highly digital world we live in. I have hundreds of hours of editing experience in each NLE Premiere Pro, Davinci Resolve, and FCP X. Being flexible and maintaining knowledge of each system on both Mac OSX and Windows keeps me agile and able to adapt to any situation. Whether completely siloed in a company with no post-production solution or working as part of an established team, I am guaranteed to fit into any workflow you may have.

The combination of these skills provide the most comprehensive coverage possible to ensure any production is executed with excellence. I run all my productions thinking about the famous Maya Angelou quote “I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” What better way to make someone feel something than to inspire them with captivating content and creative storytelling.
